New Ways to Think and Learn
Bev Babbage (of ICT Teacher Training) and Aspire Learning recently collaborated to deliver a series of online Apple workshops to support Secondary Science, English and History Teachers.
Teachers from across Australia and New Zealand Zoomed in to participate in a variety of hands-on activities to enable them to support students in demonstrating understanding in creative ways. Activities in each of the workshops were inspired by a different ‘Everyone Can Create’ book and included a learning experience related to Photography, Video, Drawing and Music.
One of my favourite activities from the Science workshop is below. The activity included Keynote animating, Garage Band voice recording and loops. There are so many teachable moments as students animate the Phases of the Moon, write a script and audio record.
